MADE FROM JAPANESE CEDARWOOD.

This Handmade koji growing Box is crafted from Japanese Cedarwood, which regulates the Koji Box's moisture retention while taking advantage of the Wood's antibacterial properties.
Koji mold grown inside the Box will also start to inoculate the Wood, resulting in a more robust Koji Culture Kin population in the Wood.

FLEXIBLE & PORTABLE GROWING IN ALL ENVIRONMENTS

The Koji growing box is portable and can grow koji on tabletops in a temperature range between 10- 30 celsius. The Boxes are stackable during the growing process and can also be stored space-saving for long term storage.

      HYGIENE AND MAINTENANCE:

       

      Superior Hygiene conditions are achieved by the use of Japanese cedar wood for the build of the Box. As the cedar wood has antibacterial properties, it prevents unwanted bacteria from multiplying.
      The Wood is easy to clean by wiping the inside with Organic vinegar by the occurrence of black mold caused by excess humidity. To avoid Moisture buildup after growing, please aerate the Box sufficiently for long term storage.
