MULTI PURPOSE CLOTH FOR GROWING KOJI
This organic cotton cheesecloth is ideal for lining and covering your koji tray during the incubation process. The cloth can also be used to filter Shio Koji or amazake for clarification before bottling.
This twilled 2 Meter Roll is 1,5 Meter Wide and can easily cut into desired sizes. After usage, the Cloth can be washed in boiling water and vinegar or discarded in the compost.
Can the cloth replace a humidifier?
The cloth can certainly help to raise the humidity levels in your growing environment but it will never replace the consistency and reliability of a Humidifier with vaporizer technology.
We recommend using this cloth for clean working practices.
How to prepare the cloth?
- Cut the cloth into desired shapes before sterilizing the cloth in boiling water for 5 Minutes.
- Leave the cloth to cool down and use for covering your koji trays or filtering your Shio koji or amazake.
